/

about

Denkyem in Ghana is the traditional name for crocodile or alligator, this creature is seen to be very strong since it can stay for long periods at a time under water.

Denkyem is one of Ghana’s Edinkra symbols, these animal symbols are popularly called totems, when likened to this creature you are seen as strong, powerful, highly enduring, and some one who will persevere through all of life’s struggles and challenges and always bounce back even stronger than ever.

lyrics

Young boy fading, though face sheding, see him using a gun
Hands are frightened, heads are howling, dynamo of his thoughts

Saw the flat
I Learned nothing

Brilliant eyes, furnished bedrooms, skin-grinding migranes
Embargo chains, compact fades, continuous subway ride

Saw the flat
I learned nothing
